Five years of projects was approved by the Bryan City Council Tuesday with a price tag of $40 million.
Two phases of construction in Downtown Bryan are among the big projects. That would total $13 million out of the general fund.
Replacement of sidewalks, pavement and sewer lines are among the changes proposed, along with landscaping.
The complete reconstruction of College Main is one of many roads projects possible, as is the construction of a new Fire Station 2.
The council did vote to remove Sam Rayburn Drive from the project that would connect Austin's Colony and Highway 6.
