An early evening fire Wednesday had Wal-Mart patrons scrambling through the parking lot. Unfortunately for a few drivers, they didn't have a ride home after their shopping outing.
A fire in the parking lot of the Bryan store began around 5:30 Wednesday evening. Authorities were quickly on scene to put out the fire, but not before five vehicles were damaged, two heavily.
There was no one in the vehicles at the time, and no one around the scene was injured.
Though fire officials know which vehicle was on fire first, an investigation into the cause of the incident continues.
