A Bryan woman faces a robbery charge after allegedly stealing clothes from a Post Oak Mall department store.
Police say Courtney Alexander, 18, was one of four women taking clothes from J.C. Penney.
Store security confronted the suspects and they fled.
The guards eventually caught up with Alexander, who was carrying the stolen merchandise.
Police say Alexander bit one of the guards during a struggle, elevating the case from a theft to a robbery.
If convicted, Alexander faces up to 20 years in prison.
