Drug Arrests

A late night traffic stop led to a couple of arrests in College Station Thursday.

Police approached a suspicious vehicle in the 1100 Block of Georgia Street.

Despite a failed attempt at fleeing the scene, the driver and his passenger were arrested.

The driver, 24-year-old Cardiss Dewayne Taylor of College Station, was charged with evading arrest and two counts of manufacture with intent to deliver after police found a large amount of PCP and Crack Cocaine.

The passenger, 30-year-old James Henery Williams, Jr. of Bryan, was also arrested on two counts of manufacture with intent to deliver.
