An illegal immigrant from Honduras who claimed his treaty rights were violated when he was arrested for a robbery-murder near Dallas has been executed.

The execution came Thursday evening after the U.S. Supreme Court
rejected Heliberto Chi's appeal. In the second case of its kind
this week in Texas, lawyers for Chi claimed he should have been
told he could get legal assistance from the Honduran consulate when
he was arrested in California and extradited to Texas to face
charges for killing his former boss at a men's clothing store
during a robbery 7½ years ago.

Chi was executed for the fatal shooting of Armand Paliotta. Chi
had once worked for Paliotta as a tailor at the store in Arlington,
between Dallas and Fort Worth.

I'm sick of hearing about treaty rights or any rights at all for these cold blooded murderers. if they are guilty w/out any shadow of doubt, then let them die as soon as possible. you forfeit all rights when you take someones life. what about the rights of his victim?

This piece of garbage forfeited his right to breathe when he made the decision to kill a united states citizen. The world is a better place without him in it.

AW POOR MURDERER. One less killer in the world if you ask me!

You come here ILLEGALLY and then commit MURDER, but yet its a crime against YOU when its time to pay the consequence?? Sign these dumb illegals up in a US Criminal Law class as part of the requirements of becoming a LEGAL citizen.

I hope this is a clear message to all the so called "illegal immigrants" that come into this country and victimize our citizens. I do not care about "unstable relations" between our countries because of this, it's about time we stood up and defended ourselves instead of rolling over and taking humiliating blow after blow from these foreign countries.

They should know their rights before they come to OUR country. We should not have to be the ambassadors. It is not our need to inform them. Furthermore, these illegals should not committ crimes if their intentions are to continue to live in the GREATEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD. Line them up and as "Dandy" Don Merideth use to say,"Turn out the lights the party's over!"

BAM BAM two illegals in a week now we are getting somewhere. We should drop flyers at the boarder. Don't mess with Texas.

It is nice to see that the state is washing it's hands of another filthy, murdering illegal alien. The army should start placing land mines along the border to keep out these people that have no respect for our laws. Adios!
