Life Flight Called Out for Unrelated Accidents

PHI Helicopters were called into service two times Saturday following unrelated accidents across the Brazos Valley.

One happened on Highway 21 east of Bryan in Kurten, near the intersection of the old Highway 21 and the new portion of the highway.

The driver of a GMC Yukon flipped the vehicle on its side and was reportedly partially ejected.

Authorities called in PHI Helicopters to life-flight the driver from the scene to Scott and White Hospital in Temple.

No word yet on a condition for the driver, or their name.

In Madison County, one man was life-flighted after an accident on I-45 north of Madisonville, about two miles north of State Highway 75.

The man, whose identity is not known, was life-flighted to St. Joseph Health Center in Bryan with a broken leg and a broken collarbone.

Details of the accident and the man's condition are not yet known.
