It was a close call Sunday for a teenage girl swimming at Lake Bryan.
Police say the 13-year-old went under and didn't come back up.
A bystander, who has yet to be identified, pulled the girl out of the water and gave her CPR.
And police say his quick thinking possibly saved the girl's life because she was under for about 30 to 45 seconds.
The girl was later life-flighted to Scott and White Hospital in Temple. But authorities say that was only as a precaution.
