College Station Police are still looking for four armed black males that robbed a State Bank branch Saturday. The robbery happened just after 8:00 a.m. as two female employees were preparing to open up the location just south of Rock Prairie Road.
Surveillance video released by College Station Police Monday shows the two bank employees were met by the four armed robbers outside the Wellborn Road building. The video shows three of the four men actually came in to the bank, each clothed head to toe, including ski masks. One man holds a shotgun.
An employee soon makes her way to the safe and opens it. Though neither woman was injured, it appears the robbers begin to get pushy with the employees, and also indecisive. Less than a minute after they tie up one of the two women, they untie her so she can help her colleague collect the money.
The suspects use a red bag to carry their stash, then herd the women into another room. After they empty more bags, the employees are quickly ushered to a back room. The suspects then leave the bank.
Police say the suspects were driving an older model Buick possibly dark brown or maroon in color that was missing hub caps.
