Brazos County commissioners are looking to the past to help solve a current and future problem with animal control.
Using a recently-discovered 1985 resolution as a starting point, commissioners have approved new rules and fees for handling strays.
County Judge Randy Sims says the most noticeable changes are in the fee structure which have been increased in some cases. Other than that, Sims says the new regulations follow those of the 1985 resolution.
