A single vehicle accident Friday morning injures a Bryan DPS Trooper.
It happened at Texas Avenue and Stevens in North Bryan around 9:30 a.m. Friday.
Officials say Trooper Michael Hubbard and a man driving a Dodge truck were headed north on Texas Avenue.
The truck attempted to change lanes and nearly hit Hubbard. Hubbard tried to avoid the collision and slid off the road hitting a light pole.
Fortunately, the power was already out in that area because of the storm, so the pole was not active.
Hubbard was taken to St Joseph for minor injuries, but is expected to be fine.
The Department of Public Safety says they expect to ticket the driver of the truck for an unsafe lane change.
