Scattered areas of rain & a few thunderstorms are moving across the Brazos Valley this afternoon. Later today & into the evening hours, while the coverage is expected to remain low (20%) -- should a thunderstorm develop, it could become severe. Large hail & damaging winds are the main concern -- however an isolated tornado threat cannot be ignored. Strong thunderstorms are possible overnight & early Monday morning, as well (50%).
A Bryan house fire in February has claimed a third child's life. Five-year-old Victor Hamilton died Saturday at the Shriner's Burn Unit in Galveston where he had been undergoing treatment.
The fire at the 20th Street home February 5 killed seven-year-old cousins Brandon Hubbard and Gabrielle Banks. Victor Hamilton's twin sister, Vickia also suffered serious burns.
But Victor's body was over 90 percent burned. He had spent that last two months at the Galveston Burn Unit.
Funeral services for Victor has been tentatively scheduled for Saturday.
