Charges have been dropped against a local pro-life activist accused of impersonating a city of Bryan official.
The Brazos County Attorney's Office dismissed the case against Donald Parsons, 69.
Parsons was arrested in February 2004 after police said he posed as a former assistant city attorney in an email.
He was charged with forgery with the intent to defraud, a Class A misdemeanor, punishable by up to one year in jail.
Assistant county attorney, Flint Matzke said Parsons admitted to writing the email, but they couldn't prove that he was trying to cause the attorney harm by making her lose her job.
