A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY is in effect for Milam, Robertson, Lee, and Leon Counties from 12am to 12pm THURSDAY. After a strong afternoon cold front, brisk north winds -- 20-25mph -- will continue to drop temperature to / just above a freeze tonight. A rain chance could turn into a scattered, wintry mix between 6am and 10am Thursday. Little-to-no accumulation is expected -- however, caution is urged driving on bridges and overpasses.
College Station school board members are talking about future growth in the city, and the district. In March a committee recommended the district rebuild College Hills Elementary, build a new elementary and high school and add new wings for several other campuses.
Thursday was the first of three meetings scheduled for the board to explore all its options. The school district is also waiting to see what happens with school funding and will continue to look at growth needs this summer.
