Two pairs of boots that were part of a Rose Bowl bet by the governors of Texas and California will benefit hurricane victims.
Texas beat Southern California in the January fourth game to claim college football's national championship.
Governors Rick Perry and Arnold Schwarzenegger each offered hand-crafted boots in their wager.
The winner received both pairs, to be auctioned for charity.
Perry chose the Texas Disaster Relief Fund, which helps people and communities affected by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
Both sets of boots will be up for auction on e-Bay later today.
The ten-day bidding window closes May seventh.
