With the start of school just around the corner, parents are being urged to have their children immunized.
State law mandates all students be immunized, although there are exclusions for those who object. That includes kindergarten kids who must have their four-year old boosters.
The immunization schedule is as follows:
Aug. 19: Brazos County Health Department, 9 a.m. - Noon; 2 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Aug. 20: Brazos County Health Department, 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Aug. 21: St. Joseph Annex, 2 p.m. - 6 p.m.
Aug. 22 Brazos County Health Department, 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
The cost is $5, regardless of how many shots your child requires.
