A local fast food restaurant probably won't be cited for a paint spill that forced a creek to be drained.
City of Bryan officials said Jack in the Box was quick to respond to Thursday's paint spill in a creek along Texas Avenue.
They will have to pay for the cost of the cleanup, which includes equipment and manpower. City officials wouldn't speculate on how much that would cost.
It took crews more than 3 hours to damn the creek and pump out four thousand gallons of water.
Workers had been cleaning paint supplies when the run-off spilled into the creek.
