It was a blue ribbon day for one of the Brazos Valley's most prestigious private schools.

Allen Academy students helped cut the ribbon for Tuesday's grand opening of the school's new multi-million dollar academic building.

The facility includes four separate wings along with a building for science and technology and an expanded fine arts center. Texas A&M President Dr. Elsa Murano provided the keynote address.

Be like what? 99% white and affluent? Bryan was like that -- so were most schools -- in the '40's. Longing for segregation are you?
