Find out what's lurking behind the kitchen door of your favorite restaurant. How do they fair under the watchful eye of the Brazos County Health Department? KBTX continues to look at which Brazos Valley restaurants are making the grade and which ones aren't.

Here's what inspectors found during the week of August 12:

Pollo El Mexicano in Bryan barely passed inspection with a 72, but its permit was still temporarily suspended because the restaurant had no hot water.

The retirement community, Waldenbrooke Estates, scored a 76 thanks to fruit flies, a dirty microwave and a dirty sanitizing bucket.

It's an 81 for Golden Corral on University Drive for moldy soda nozzles and dirty utensils.

Lenny's in Bryan was told to store cups six inches off the floor. The sub shop scored a 93.

And it's a 97 for Buck's Pizza in College Station, and a 100 for Subway at Southwest Parkway and Texas Avenue in College Station.

The KBTX Restaurant Report card airs each Thursday at 10 p.m. on 10 at Ten.

For JV and Aggie12: I saw that, too, and I'm pretty sure it was a Burger King. I believe it was up on Yahoo for a time, even had a still from the video. If I remember correctly, even the Manager on duty was in on it. Scary stuff... wonder what else goes on that DOESN'T see the light of day...

To Aggie12: All I can say about that place in Belton is EEEEWWWW! I'm glad they closed them down and hopefully they won't re-open their doors. Maybe if enough folks thought like us, we could shut a few more of them.

Jv, I am sorry but I cannot remember the resturant but it was one of the national chains. I was so shocked watching the footage of is guy naked in a sink that I did not pay much attention to the place. I think it was either KFC or Arbby's but I am not sure and I do not want to get sued. I have decided not to eat in Belton. Just go to the next town.

Taking a bath in the restaurant sink? OMG! Please tell what restaurant that was? Because I go to Belton every so often.

A, Don't worry about the mean post. I am sure that it was posted by one of the owners or nasty workers of a establishment that was written up. What gets me is that those that are graded poorly have been complaining that the health department is unfair in its rating system. Did you see last week where a resturant in the Belton area was closed and the employee arrested for taking a bath in one of the industrial sinks located in the kitchen? The only reason they found out about it was that he had another employee video it and they posted on some website. Nasty!

Good for you Aggie12. Like my last post several weeks ago, we quit eating in those nasty places too and now there are only a few places we spend our hard earned money in to treat ourselves to a night out. Too bad because I really liked some of those eateries, but just can't stand the thought of what goes on behind the scenes. Hopefully, I won't get the rabid response I got last time from another poster...which, by the way, to that poster, my kitchen is clean as are my dishes, counters, and cooking utensils. I expect the same from these establishments.

I cannot believe that POLLO EL MEXICANO got a "72". They must not even been trying to make sure their establishment is safe for guess. Also, the low score for Golden Corral does not surprise me. I stopped eating there a few years ago because I noticed the same things that the health inspector has. Good job KBTX for pointing out these nasty places!
