A retired Texas A&M professor was killed Friday in a two-vehicle crash in Bastrop County.
Department of Public Safety officials say Zoltan Kosztolnyik, 75, was hit when another driver failed to yield the right of way and hit Kosztolnyik's car.
Kosztolnyik was taken to an Austin hospital where he later died.
His wife was also transported but is expected to recover.
Kosztolnyik retired from A&M several years ago and was an expert on European history.
