Jury selection is set to begin Tuesday in the murder trial of a Montgomery man accused of stabbing a Navy serviceman at the Texas Renaissance Festival.

Grimes County authorities say Brent Noland, 20, stabbed Brandon Smith following a fight outside the festival on October 16, 2004.

Smith was stabbed 19 times with a 4 inch pocket knife.
The 23-year-old, who was based in Norfold, Va., was on leave from the Navy at the time of his death.

Noland remains in the Grimes County jail on a $150,000 dollar bond.

Another man, Jonathan Damuth is also charged with Smith's murder.
