A FLASH FLOOD WATCH is in effect until midnight for Lee County. Strong thunderstorms will continue to be possible, across the Brazos Valley, this evening. Winds in excess of 40-60mph are the main concern, within the strongest activity.Heavy rainfall between 1" and 3" has the potential to cause localized flash flooding in a few locations.
A Brazos County Jury indicted 53 people Thursday.
Two indictments regard incidents at Post Oak Mall. Bryan resident Courtney Alexander was indicted Thursday for robbery. She was arrested in April after police say she stole clothes from J.C. Penny and bit one of the guards during a struggle. Bryan Resident James Archer was also indicted for robbery. Police say he assaulted an employee at the mall and stole jewelry.
Christopher Buchanan, of Bryan was indicted for possession of marijuana. In February police found a dozen marijuana plants in his home. Authorities place the street value of the plants at around $20,000.
