After a standout career on the athletic field, another Blinn Buccaneer is turning pro. And she couldn't be more excited.

Blinn dance team member Christina Abidin has been picked to join the Houston Rockets Power Dancers. The Elkins High grad was one of 21 chosen by the Rockets out of hundreds of contestants.

Earlier this month, her Blinn teammate Whitney Isleib, of Friendswood, was picked to be a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader.
