Meteorologists have determined it was a tornado that hit Waco Saturday morning.
The National Weather Service confirms it was an F-2 tornado. An F-2 is the third weakest measurement on the Fujita scale, which measures tornadic strength on a scale of 0 to 5.
Waco's mayor has declared the city a disaster area, and is asking the state for money to help rebuild.
Several businesses suffered extensive damage, including News 3's sister station, KWTX-TV.
The National Weather Service says a combination of the tornadoes and downbursts caused most of the damage.
No injuries were reported.
