A manager at a College Station eatery is now accused of being behind the armed robbery of her own store.
On August 5, Wing Stop on University Drive was robbed at gunpoint around midnight.
Authorities have arrested the man they say held up the restaurant, 48-year-old James Manuel of Bryan. He's charged with aggravated robbery, a first-degree felony.
However, authorities say the mastermind of the plan is James's ex-wife, Kami Manuel. The 41-year-old was a manager at the restaurant.
Authorities say she had already stolen thousands of dollars from the store when she asked her ex to rob the place.
Manuel is charged with aggravated robbery, plus theft, a third-degree felony.
