Car shopping can get frustrating. It must have really irritated a shopper so much that Bryan fire marshals say a 19-year old lit a car on fire.

Freddy Hernandez was taken to the Brazos County Jail after authorities believe he set a 1998 Mitsubishi Mirage on fire. The owner told investigators Hernandez had wanted to buy the car but then backed out because he did not want to pay for the title.

Fire marshals say surveillance video caught Hernandez pouring a gallon of bleach on the car and setting it ablaze.

His getaway vehicle was in a traffic accident later that day with the empty bleach bottle inside.

Amy this would not be petty in Huntsville. We call it a felony arson is this town. In Bryan i agree it may be petty with the amount of crime you have. This may be a reason your citizens are living with us today. THE BIG HOUSE-AKA-TDCJ

The state needs to revoke his license to drive. Anyone that would do something like that is too stupid to be out on the road.

Bryan residents again. 1st a CSPD car. If Bryan was on the gulf it would be the 1st city to riot after a hurricane.

Way to go slick.

I would have just paid for the TTL instead of paying dearly with a record for felony arson and a ruined chance of ever having a career somewhere. That's what I call a dumb criminal.
