New CPR Guidelines

New CPR guidelines were announced by the American Heart Association at the end of last year. Now those guidelines are being taught.

The new way to perform CPR is to give 30 chest compressions and two rescue breaths for adults, children, and infants.

The American Red Cross and American Heart Association say chest compressions create more blood flow through the heart and body, and also minimize brain asphyxiation.
