It's the third day of testimony, with several days yet to come, in the Texas Renaissance Festival murder trial. Brent Noland is accused of fatally stabbing Unites States Navy servicemen Brandon Smith at the festival in October 2004.
Tuesday, the state called several investigators as well as witnesses to the stabbing.
The defense is claiming Noland acted in self-defense, that Smith was drunk, and threatened him.
The prosecution says Noland had no right to kill an innocent man.
The state is expected to rest early next week.
