What began as a routine traffic stop Tuesday in Leon County ended with a fugitive illegal immigrant in jail and the seizure of several pounds of cocaine.
Authorities say judging from the size of the haul, this may have been a major shipment on its way to distributors.
Priciliano Villarveva, 35, was captured near Flynn after TDC tracking dogs sniffed him out. He'd been running from authorities since shortly after 3pm when he was first pulled over. During the chase, the Mexican National wrecked two different vehicles, one of which he's accused of car-jacking. A search of the first car turned up several pounds of cocaine which appeared to be packaged for delivery.
Charges are still pending.
