Navasota ISD's education renovations are on time, but athletics upgrades will have to wait.
The school board says they'll wait until after football and basketball seasons in order to complete the new football stadium and gym, as well as a cafeteria and band hall. The projects were behind schedule due, in part, to design changes and material delays.
However, Superintendent Jennings Teel says all renovations to their schools are on schedule, and that they're focus is squarely on providing a quality education.
The big changes are a part of a $25 million bond approved by voters last year.
