The tornado-tossed area around the tiny North Texas community of Westminster was under a dusk-to-dawn curfew overnight.

That's after two -- and possibly three -- tornadoes roared through the area Tuesday night -- killing three people and sending ten more to area hospitals.

Officials say at least 26 homes were destroyed by the storm. Collin County Judge Ron Harris issued a disaster declaration for the area.

The Collin County fire marshal says that an elderly couple were found dead in a the ruins of their mobile home in Westminster, about 45 miles northeast of Dallas. Officials identified them as 82-year-old Paul Harris Newsom and 80-year-old Mary Ellen Newsom.

In nearby Grayson County, 14-year-old Colson Owens died in his family's home when police say a chimney collapsed on a stairwell
where the boy had taken shelter.

Yesterday, tornadoes were reported in South Texas from Victoria to the north of Raymondville. No damage or injuries were reported.
