A parents’ rights group took to the streets of Huntsville Thursday. People for Equal Parenting marched down 11th Street to draw attention to child custody issues.
About 25 people participated and carried signs. They also held a rally at the courthouse. The group hopes to change the laws concerning child custody.
"It's a great big problem and we simply want to tell the truth about it and engage in an honest debate and change it. Make a presumption of the law that when you've got two fit parents there's going to be equal custody," said Jim Loose with People for Equal Parenting.
