Game Wardens found beer and marijuana on their Sea-Doo. Both could have contributed to a collision on lake Bryan.
Game Wardens say on Friday, 36-year-old James Joseph Wood admitted to going too fast on his friend's Sea-Doo.
When the boat in front of him entered the no-wake zone, Woods says he drove the Sea-Doo drove over the back of it.
When game wardens caught up with the driver and passenger, they found 8 empty beer cans on the jet ski, as well as a small amount of marijuana.
The College Station man was charged with reckless or excessive speed of a water vessel and possession of marijuana.
His bond was set at $4,000.
