Two women accused of abducting a six-week-old boy from Los Angeles were arrested last night south of Dallas.
The FBI says Annette Bryant and Sylvia Nunn are in the custody of the Ellis County Sheriff's Department after their arrests in Midlothian. It's expected they'll be arraigned in Waxahachie today and extradition proceedings begun to return them to Los Angeles.
A spokeswoman with the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office says both women face one count each of kidnapping and child stealing.
FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller says Devon Calloway was turned over to authorities unharmed early Wednesday by a Dallas attorney representing the women. Investigators allege the child was taken after the pair failed in an attempt to purchase the child from his mother.
