Details continue to unfold about the fatal racing accident Monday morning that involved two motorcycles. The driver of the truck parked at the finish line was arrested and has bonded out of jail.
22-year old Hunter Konzen faces 5 charges stemming from that morning. They include intoxication manslaughter, DWI, and highway racing causing death. Konzen posted a 25-thousand dollar bond and was released Wednesday afternoon.
The Department of Public Safety says the case is still under investigation and more charges could be coming.
The accident happened early Monday when two motorcycles were racing down Leonard road. One crashed into Konzen's truck parked at the finish line near Jones road. The driver of that motorcycle, 24-year-old William Troy Waters, died at the scene. The other biker also crashed. Its driver, 23-year-old David Svrcek, was treated and released.
Troopers say neither man was wearing a helmet.
