Beaumont police say three girls attacked a postal worker after she refused to give them money last week.
Police spokesman Rob Flores says two girls - ages 12 and 14 - were arrested Thursday and a 16-year-old is still being sought.
Flores tells The Beaumont Enterprise that on July 5, the postal worker was hit on the back of the head, leaving a large welt.
Flores says each of the three girls faces a third-degree felony charge of attempted robbery.
Neighbors and witnesses identified the girls, whose names aren't being released because they are minors.
