Long after they've left this life, some celebrities still rake in the bucks. Forbes magazine says Elvis Presley, Albert Einstein, Kurt Cobain and Marilyn Monroe continue to earn enviable incomes from the grave.
Presley, who died in 1977, raked in some 52 (m) million dollars last year. The magazine says Cobain, who killed himself in 1994, managed to generate about 50 (m) million, although a big chunk of that came when his widow, Courtney Love, sold a quarter of Nirvana's song catalog in April.
Einstein, who has been dead more than half a century, took in about 20 (m) million, according to the magazine's estimates, from sales of the famed thinker's image and from royalties from Disney's line of Baby Einstein toys and videos.
