Police are looking for a man who attacked and verbally assaulted several KBTX employees Tuesday night, then vandalized the television station.

Around 7:15 p.m., police say Jason Bewley, 37, showed up at the KBTX television station. Police believe he was the one that accosted several employees in the parking lot.

No one was injured, but Bewley allegedly broke the side mirrors on two vehicles. He then allegedly threw a cinder block at the windshield of a KBTX live van and the station's back door window, breaking both.

Police say Bewley fled the scene on a bicycle.

If you have any information about Bewley's whereabouts, call police.

So let me get this right. Here we have a white man who has done a crime and here on KBTX the comments don't bash his race or his upbringing. The comments don't say he is on welfare and live on HUD. Now the comments are about where he lives because now I understand, College Station has law abiding white people and Bryan has just criminals rather your white or black. But if this was a black man then it gives people the right to downgrade all black people. Well I am glad to know that white people contradict themselves and like always make themselves look real ignorant. I live in CS and quite frankly I do not see a difference. Why do College Station people not realize that they have a ghetto in their town just like Bryan does? College Station has ignorant people its just what they do is not so bad because of the color of their skin. Ex. young white people can for no reason start cussing out loud at Gattistown, black people would be asked to leave for disorderly conduct. Vote Obama.

I am curious as to what this guy is angry about. KBTX is not at all shy about telling why everything else happens but, I haven't heard them give a reason at all as why he was being so destructive. Did I miss that segment?? he also went to The Eagle and was angry..... So, what was his beef.....Most people don't just sit around and think hummmmm today I will vandalize the media. So come KBTX what was his issue!!!!!!!! You are eager to tell what he destroyed but not why he destroyed!?!?!?

This guy is the reason I carry a gun. He would not have ridden off on his bike!

Because there is a big picture of the loser along with the story.

Why do you say Bryan "doesn't have have money?" Speak for yourself and take a look around town.

Posted by: KH Location: Bryan be careful on Oct 15, 2008 at 07:54 PM
This Bryan resident is a person to be careful around. True most areas of Bryan are not safe, but he is in the safer areas of Bryan. I have run across a few women that have had problems with him and it was not in the slum areas of the city. Bryan finest are on the move and are also going into College Station in larger numbers. KBTX need to run more news on Bryan's Crime problem. Some in the city just do not get it. It now has become a CS and Brazos valley problem like a cancer.

Where was the bicycle patrol????

I read alot by the internet, and often check both KBTX.com and The Eagle online for stories. But I have just about had it with people comlaining about one city or another. Get over it or move, neither one is better than the other. CS is ate up with snobs and hides their criminals behind money. Byran just doesn't have the money to hide theirs as well, oh because they are mainly working class people. Notice I didn't bring up color, because it doesn't matter a thief is a thief, no matter what color. Just as a drug dealer is a drug dealer no matter what color you are or what school you attend. When you start pointing fingers make sure your own hands are clean.

This guy is really creepy and really wierd! He also enjoys flirting with woman!! He's either riding his bike or walking around town. If you see this guy definitly call the police.

Posted by: Anonymous on Oct 15, 2008 at 02:42 PM
He may still be working at the car detail shop by the shell gas station across from Court house on Texas ave. He is a nut job.

Posted by: Anonymous Location: Bryan. on Oct 15, 2008 at 02:19 PM
I have seen him make problems at two MX-RR. One on S.College near downtown the other downtown. He does not need a reason to come at you. If you are a male or female he will go to a table and make a problem.

Posted by: anonymous Location: College Station on Oct 15, 2008 at 02:06 PM
This guy also preys on woman at Fitzwillies. He's actually very charming and manipulative, so watch out.

Posted by: me Location: B/CS on Oct 15, 2008 at 01:44 PM
During the summer, he was at Lake Bryan ALL the time and was rumored to "live" at the lake. Supposedly he used to be a professor!

Posted by: Anonymous on Oct 15, 2008 at 01:17 PM
Wow, what did y'all do to tick him off?

Posted by: EJ Location: BRYAN on Oct 15, 2008 at 12:52 PM
How about putting some of those cameras around KBTX? It might convince the privacy fairies to change their minds.

Posted by: Anonymous on Oct 15, 2008 at 12:51 PM
Is his picture from a previous conviction in Brazos County? That info might be helpful and maybe needs to be so we will know what kind of person we're dealing with

Posted by: Anonymous Location: Bryan on Oct 15, 2008 at 12:48 PM
I tried calling the police about him today and was put on hold. Go figure BPD whats up with that.

Posted by: WHY NO DESCRIPTION? Location: BRYAN,TX on Oct 15, 2008 at 10:42 AM
GIVE A DESCRIPTION OF THIS FOOL,SO WE CAN BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR HIM.REMEMBER THERE ARE SEVERAL CHILDREN WHO WALK TO SCHOOL. PARENTS NEED TO BE ON THE LOOKOUT. KBTX, POST A PICTURE,OR DESCRIPTION ASAP!!! BPD,GET HIM.

Posted by: Sn Location: Bryan on Oct 15, 2008 at 10:32 AM
How do they know his name? Has he worked for KBTX? It seems there is more to this story that hasnt been reported.

Posted by: Anonymous Location: Bryan, Texas on Oct 15, 2008 at 10:29 AM
This guy is creepy ---- stay away from him and if you see him CALL THE POLICE. He's been seen riding his bike all over town and actually works out at GOLD'S GYM in Bryan ---- Be Careful

Posted by: Amy Location: Bryan on Oct 15, 2008 at 10:03 AM
I am glad everyone is ok. I bet the TV station has a lot of cameras around - was he caught on tape?

Posted by: Domaco34 Location: bcs on Oct 15, 2008 at 09:22 AM
So does anyone know why he did this? Was he mad at a reporter over a story? This not a funny thing but, it makes me laugh. Why would you put yourself in the position to go to jail over "beating up" a tv station? Wow. What was he on!!??!!

Posted by: c Location: bryan on Oct 15, 2008 at 09:07 AM
seems to me like he was running from the meth monsters.......its powerful and taking over...police need to crack down

Posted by: krissy Location: cs on Oct 15, 2008 at 08:19 AM
What a loser!! really?? he had nothing else to do and then fled on his bike HAHA! Your a WINNER!

Posted by: Michael on Oct 15, 2008 at 07:55 AM
I know people are considered innocent until proven guilty, but if you are the ACTUAL victim of a crime, doesn't that allow you to remove the politically correct term "allegedly"?

Posted by: Sharon Location: Bryan on Oct 15, 2008 at 06:12 AM
Anonymous, You might want to go to http://www.txdps.state.tx.us/administration/crime_records/pages/crimestatistics.htm and check the state reported crime statistics. Your claim of an 82% increase is absurd and as flaccid as your rhetoric.

Posted by: Anonymous on Oct 15, 2008 at 12:40 AM
We have a 82% increase in crime over last year in Bryan you reported it a month ago. Get a CHL. refuse to be a victim next time.
