A Sam Houston State University student is in stable condition after a car accident in Grimes County. It happened Friday on Highway 30 and County Road 175.
The 22 year old woman was a passenger in a car that flipped over several times after the driver lost control. She has undergone surgery at Scott and White in Temple for multiple fractures in her arms, legs and back. The male driver of the car was not seriously injured.
The woman is senior Criminal Justice major at Sam Houston and was in training to become a Texas Department of Criminal Justice Correctional Officer.
