The US military says seven American troops have been wounded in the massive search for two missing American soldiers in Iraq.
In addition, three insurgents have been killed and 34 detained.
But there still is no sign of privates Kristian Menchaca of Houston and Thomas Tucker of Madras, Oregon. Both went missing Friday after an attack at a checkpoint that left Specialist David Babineau of Springfield, Massachusetts, dead.
Major General William Caldwell says fighter jets, unmanned aerial vehicles and dive teams have been deployed to find the missing soldiers.
Caldwell says more than eight-thousand US and Iraqi troops are participating in the search.
