The three-member board of the Brazos Animal Shelter will meet to discuss what is simply being described as personnel matters.
The board will meet in executive session Friday at 2:30 PM at the Bryan Municipal Building. Any action taken by the board will be announced following the meeting.
Animal shelter employees have made numerous public statements over the past month complaining about their board's make-up. A few weeks ago, County Judge Randy Sims, who serves alongside two city managers on the board, said that they would likely be adding new members to the board.
Sims also expressed displeasure with the job Shelter Director Kelley Durham was doing.
