For the first time this year, Brazos County neighborhoods have tested positive for West Nile Virus. Mosquitoes collected at a pair of Bryan neighborhoods last week were found to have West Nile.
The first location is at the corner of Baker Avenue and William J Bryan Parkway, which is also the northwest corner of Sue Haswell Park.
The other spot was in the 2300 block of Morningside Drive, which is between Texas Avenue and Carter Creek Parkway.
Residents in both locations have been notified. County health officials are asking that you clear all standing water caused by the recent rains.
