Strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible, across the Brazos Valley, this afternoon and evening. Winds in excess of 40-60mph are the main concern, within the strongest activity. An isolated, brief tornado threat cannot be ruled out. Heavy rainfall between 1" and 3" has the potential to cause localized flash flooding in a few locations.
Robertson County officials are asking for your help to find a missing man.
The sheriff's office says Byron Freeman, 70, from California has been missing since Saturday. He was staying with friends in Palestine when he took off. Police believe he could be in Robertson County because his car was found there.
He is described as a black man wearing a light green jumpsuit, and he may be suffering from demenia or the beginning stages of Alzheimer's disease.
A search conducted Tuesday was unsuccessful, but police believe a truck driver may have spotted Freeman Saturday night on Highway 79.
