A TORNADO WATCH has been issued for Lee county until 4pm and for Milam and Robertson counties until 6pm. A FLASH FLOOD WATCH is in effect for Milam, Robertson, Leon Counties until 9pm Monday, for Austin, Brazos, Burleson, Grimes, Houston, Madison, Montgomery,San Jacinto, Trinity, Walker, Waller, and Washington Counties until 10pm Monday, and for Lee county until 1am Tuesday. An additional widespread 1" to 3" rain accumulations are possible through Monday, with locally higher amounts possible.
Another case of West Nile has been found in Bryan.
Mosquitoes collected on June 20 in the 2700 block of Maloney Avenue tested positive for the disease. The site is just northeast of the Bryan Municipal Golf Course. Residents in that area have been notified and the appropriate control steps are being taken.
This is the third case of West Nile found in Brazos County this year. All of them have been in Bryan.
