As an upper-level weather maker swings into Texas, numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected to remain scattered across the Brazos Valley. A few storms could be strong -- with heavy rain, thunder, & occasional lightning -- however, this activity is not expected to become severe. Rain chance will remain in place through mid-morning to midday Friday.
You've seen small, decorative trains around town, and now there's a chance to own one. The trains are part of the "Locomotives on Parade" exhibit at the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum at Texas A&M.
Thirty five trains are located throughout Bryan/College Station. You can start bidding on those trains at an online auction site at the end of next week.
Visit the Bush Library's website at bushlibrary.tamu.edu for a link to the auction.
You'll have a chance to place bids until September 29. That is when an auction gala will be held.
All proceeds will go toward educational programs for the Bush Library and Museum.
