A boy playing along some railroad tracks in Houston had his arm severed by a passing train.
Police say doctors attempted to reattach the arm after Sunday's accident. A neighbor who lives near the tracks found the arm and put it in on ice before the boy was taken to the hospital. There's no word on whether the surgery was successful.
A witness says he saw the boy and some friends reaching out to touch the passing train when the accident happened. The train kept
going. Police say the conductor apparently didn't know what had happened until he was notified by police.
