Two Survive Georgetown Plane Crash

Authorities say two men escaped serious injury after their small plane crashed into some trees in a Georgetown yard.

The single-engine plane ended up -- vertical -- in the trees and near a small shed.

Williamson County officials say the men were trying to land the Piper Warrior Two at Georgetown Municipal Airport when the accident happened yesterday.

The plane came to rest in the yard of Gerald Fay, whose wife called 911 when the couple noticed the two people on board crawling out of the wreckage.

The cause of the crash is sought.
