A Bryan man accused of robbing two local convenience stores has been found guilty of aggravated robbery. A jury sentenced him late Thursday afternoon to 68-years in jail.
Forty-year-old Russell Raymer was arrested in 2005 after leading police on a high speed chase.
It took a jury about an hour and a half to render the verdict. Raymer maintains he is innocent. He could face up to life in prison.
Meanwhile, Bryan Resident Shane Weldon is awaiting his trial. He is accused of being Raymer's getaway driver.
