A rare exhibit is making a stop in the Brazos Valley for the summer.
Starting Saturday and until October, The Burgess Shale exhibit on loan from the Smithsonian will be on display at the Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History.
These fossils found in the Canadian Rockies date back some 500 million years, and are the precursors to some of the creatures living today.
The exhibit is on a four year tour of North America, and are the only fossils of their kind on display in the world.
