BEIRUT, Lebanon (AP) - Israel has been lobbing missiles at targets across Lebanon.
Fourteen deaths are reported.
Eight of the dead are Lebanese soldiers who were killed when aircraft attacked a small fishing port in northernmost Lebanon.
Gunboats apparently aiming at a relay station for Hezbollah's al-Manar television missed their target and hit a house south of Beirut. Police say four villagers were killed.
Along the Beirut-Damascus highway in the central section of the Bekaa Valley in the east, police say an air raid killed two people at a commercial compound.
Israel has been staging a surge of reprisals after Hezbollah rockets slammed into new targets deep inside Israel.
