Last week we reported the rise in Brazos County West Nile cases. Monday, the trend continues.
Health authorities say a blue jay collected Friday tested positive for West Nile. It was found on Socorro Court in College Station. This is the second confirmed case of bird infection.
But there's been nine cases of West Nile mosquitoes scattered throughout the county.
